Newbury Sports Massage will be on hand to provide sports massage to runners taking part in the annual infamous Bayer 10km run through Newbury.

Pre an post event massage will be available - pre-event to get those muscles warmed up and firing so that you don't waste the first part of your race as a warm up. Post event massage is not meant to replace your warm down but there's no question that a lactate flush will reduce the amount of stiffness you would otherwise feel the following day(s). If you're using this event as part of a longer term event programme then a massage within say 2 hours of competing will also help to get back to your training regime quicker and with less affect to your performance than otherwise. Price is £5 for 10 minutes.
