Even as the UK relaxes Covid restrictions from 19th July, here at Newbury Sports Massage we will continue to maintain our existing covid safety protocols in order to keep everyone safe and minimise the risk of cross transfer.  This will include the wearing of face mask on arrival and completing a covid safety screen in advance.  If when booking your appointment you are not in agreement with this kindly let us know and we will try and redirect you elsewhere or postpone your appointment until we feel Covid no longer poses a risk to any of our clients.

Appointment booking process in order to minimise risk of spread of Covid-19. 

 

Face to face appointments are max 45minutes to minimise face to face close contact. As much information as you can provide about treatment sought in advance of your appointment will ensure treatment is as effective as possible.

  1. Agree appointment day and time.

  2. Prior to appointment client must complete and return online Covid-19 screening form (each time unless appointments are within the same week).

  3. New clients must also complete health screen questionnaire prior to appointment.

  4. If any further clarity is required I will call you prior to appointment to discuss what you are seeking treatment for and agree most appropriate treatment plan. 

  5. Provided all checks complete a reminder will be sent the day before your appointment together with a covid screen (simple google form). 

  6. Client to wear facemask on arrival and maintain on.  I too will be wearing face mask and visor.

  7. Antibacterial sanitiser to be used before arrival.

  8. Avoid touching of door handles or anything other than the couch (doors will be opened for you).

  9. Please bring your own pen so only you touch it for signing consent forms.

  10. Clothing to be placed in assigned area.

  11. Hands to be sanitised on leaving treatment room / premises.

  12. Please bring your own water as you will need a drink immediately after treatment.

  13. Payment to be made online via BACs 09-01-27 account 40536330 Santander ref your name £50.00 account name Lizanne Robey t/a Newbury Sports Massage or by paypal lizanne@newburysportsmassage.co.uk £50.00.  Appts after 6pm £55.

  14. If you have covid or cold symtoms or feel at all unwell generally please cancel with as much notice as possible.

A minimum 15-30 minutes aeration time is needed between clients so please don’t arrive early.  This will also allow me time to clean all contact surfaces ie door handles, couch, massage bottle anything touched by client or therapist.  Fresh couch roll will be used with each client and disposed of immediately after treatment.   I will open doors for you and warmly welcome you into the slightly newer way of having your treatment, but I will as ever endeavour to do my very best to help you feel more comfortable in your own body and achieve your movement goals.

I have completed the World Health Organisation online training on PPE and infection prevention.
