I decided to run a marathon purely for my own experience I did not intend it to be a fund raiser. However I learnt of a local tragedy last month when a local family lost their 3 year old daughter to leukaemia - more unbearable if possible is that it's the second child they've lost. My friends who are running the marathon with me know this family and together we have set up a fund raising page for Anthony Nolan which is a charity whose purpose is to save the lives of those with blood cancer, so this is purely for those of you who have specifically asked me if I am raising money for charity - here's the link - thank you x
